Polish progressive house tastemaker and Silk veteran, Kobana returned to the label today accompanied by Australian producer Hiski with their ethereal three-track EP, ‘Too Far.’
Debuting as both artists’ first release under the Monstercat Silk brand, ‘Too Far’ is the perfect fusion of their dynamic styles. Intended to reflect the feelings of missing your loved ones, the titular track “Too Far” takes listeners on an otherworldly journey through a masterfully crafted soundscape characterized by deep basses, crisp percussion, and bright synths.
The warm atmospheric pads, forest foley, and soft keys in “Hold Hands” conjure feelings of happiness and relaxation, reminiscent of the moment you reconnect with someone you love after months of being apart.
Hiski shares, “It’s an honour to be a part of the Monstercat Silk Family, the ‘Too Far’ EP with my good friend Kobana was incredible to produce and we hope you enjoy it as much as we did making it!”
