Isoskeles has caught our attention with a dark and explosive techno release that showcases him to be an up-and-coming talent who already possesses accomplished production skills.
His peak time style of techno orientates around dark atmosphere and percussion that provides an unstable energy. In terms of his style, it’s similar to other artists such as Arjun Vagale, Enrico Sangiuliano and Ramon Tapia.
Originally from Greece but currently living in Germany, Isoskeles is co-founder of the Brace Brace record label that is releasing this EP. Both of the tracks on this EP titled ‘Fired Self Employed’ have a brooding intensity that is perfect for working the dance floor into a frenzy.
The title track “Fired Self Employed” is first up with its fast-paced rhythms, clanging percussion, and tense pads underlined by a juddering bassline.
“Gut Feeling” has industrial sound effects that shroud high-velocity percussion and immense synths that create an atmosphere full of intensity.
Overall, this is a very accomplished release and it’s hard to believe this is only Isoskeles’ second ever outing, as both tracks have all the hallmarks of an experienced producer. So, we are excited to hear more from this exciting new talent.
