KIDDO is showing some incredible form with her debut single release “Drunk And I Miss You.” She has already written music for other artists but comes into her own with this tune, produced by DECCO.

With guitar-based influences leading the way for its soul-filled vocals and melody, the tune is all about succumbing to getting in contact with someone you miss when you’ve had a few too many drinks. The Swedish artist says of it: “It’s about a night out when you just lost someone you love so much, you are falling apart. You do everything you can to make the pain go away, escaping reality.

At the end of the night, you may fall, drunk-text, lose control and you forget what your mind tells you… but your heart always speaks very clear.”

About KIDDO:

TROUBLE is the debut single from KIDDO released via Stockholm-based independent label BLNK Music. As one of Sweden’s most exciting and creative songwriters, KIDDO marks her first release as an artist with a solemn, atmospheric track, laying bare her distinctive vocals and intimate songwriting style. The release arrives hot on the heels of a string of recent songwriting work for Dagny, Soleima, Icona Pop, and label mate SHY Martin. Over the past few years, a number of songwriters have left the safe space of the recording studio to release their own very intimate music. This is one of those cases. TROUBLE is a uniquely up close and personal song describing KIDDO’s early years living in London, written after returning to the cold, dark north of Sweden.
