After five years, dance music veterans Kill The Noise and Feed Me reunite on their collab “Mirage” as the second single from Kill The Noise’s third studio album ‘HOLLOW WORLD’.

Gritty warehouse beats and hypnotic chants proceed a cathartic second half in a blend of thumping techno, industrial and progressive.

“Mirage” also shows a second glimpse into the major themes of ‘HOLLOW WORLD’ through Tasha Baxter’s lyrics of anguish, emptiness and desperation in the age of digital consumption. The collab is the fourth between Kill The Noise and Feed Me who famously paired up to produce the now legendary hit on Skrillex’s label OWSLA, “I Do Coke”.

The music of Jake Stanczak, better known as American producer and DJ, Kill the Noise, was born out of an era where Ridley Scott imagined utopian futures on the silver screen, and artists like NIN and Aphex Twin rocked MTV. After channeling the influences of his youth through over a decades’ worth of forward driven electronic releases (Roots, Kill Kill Kill, Black Magic, Occult Classic), and charismatic live shows (Coachella, EDC Lollapalooza, Hardfest), the name “Kill the Noise” has become synonymous with some of the leading acts in dance music — getting creative in the studio with the likes of Dillon Francis, Deadmau5, AWOLNATION and Skrillex. In 2022, Kill The Noise made his return with ‘EMBRACE’, his sophomore album and first in seven years. The album was accompanied by Kill The Noise’s 27 city tour to promote the record.

For British born DJ/producer Jon Gooch, fitting in has never been much of a priority. Transforming between the electro/house sounds of Feed Me, the dark drum and bass of Spor and the more creative leftfield output of Seventh Stitch, Jon has released multiple projects across multiple labels, most notably becoming the first outside act to sign with deadmau5’s label, mau5trap, in 2010. Fast forward to 2019 and Feed Me’s critically acclaimed album High Street Creeps receives widespread press and radio support, in turn leading to a multi date “LiveTeeth” US tour and an appearance at multiple UK festivals, including a set on the generator stage at Creamfields. Entering 2020 off the back of two releases via Spinnin’ and NightMode, this year is set to be even bigger for the DJ/producer as Jon and his many aliases continue to grow and evolve.

Tasha Baxter is a South African singer-songwriter. Baxter won “Newcomer of the Year” and “Best Pop Album” at the 14th South African Music Awards for her album “Colour Of Me”. Baxter is most well known for her debut solo studio album “Colour Of Me” on EMI South Africa and for her collaborations in electronic dance music and drum & bass with multiple songs reaching number one and top positions on the Beatport charts such as “Snowblind” with Au5 and “Cloudburn” with Feed Me and on the Top 40 UK singles charts with “In the Beginning” with Roger Goode.
