Klaudie Drops Dark-Club EP “Make This Place” AND “Don’t Stop”

Klaudie has introduced her new daring chapter with the two-siding EP “Make This Place” / “Don’t Stop” on DISTRIKT Sound, out October 10, 2025.

The EP represents a change of direction in her aesthetic vision, plunging headfirst into the intense, dark power of pre-2000s warehouse culture, in contrast to the cinematic frugality of her first single, “Serenade for Strings.”

Klaudie described the artistic inspiration for the EP: “I needed to create something that felt like an old, forgotten memory from a warehouse rave, dark basslines, flickering lights, no phones, just perspiration, sound, and release.” The album delves into a grungier, rougher palette that leans all the way into her club style, embracing grit and repetitive rhythms.

The A-side, “Make This Place,” is the result of a collaboration with Miami producer m.O.N.R.O.E. and brings together hypnotic vocal snippets and a propulsive groove. The track combines Klaudie’s minimalist approach with m.O.N.R.O.E.’s heavy rhythmic style to form a hypnotic energy that is designed for dark rooms and dancefloor absorption.

The B-side, “Don’t Stop,” packs a knockout blow. With gutty percussion, soaked textures, and a stripped-down setup, the solo cut is designed for stripped raw, club-focused experiences with no time for ornamentations, direct, late-night energy aimed at getting bodies in motion. Individually, the two cuts demonstrate Klaudie’s range, revealing depth accomplished through collaboration as well as her own untamed presence.

This EP follows her standout debut on Rony Seikaly’s Stride Records earlier in 2025. While that release explored cinematic emotion through orchestral sampling and microhouse minimalism, “Make This Place” / “Don’t Stop” reveals a sweatier, darker dimension of Klaudie’s sound, capturing the intensity of underground club culture while staying unmistakably her own.

Klaudie’s momentum extends beyond the studio. She will play at two large performances at Amsterdam Dance Event 2025. She appears alongside Kyle Walker and Ranger Trucco for PIV By Train, a three-carriage traveling club night in partnership with Club Roto, on October 22. Next, on October 25, she shows up once again as part of Factory 93’s take over at PIV x ADE, joining forces with Fabe, Vitess (Live), and her collaborator m.O.N.R.O.E. These gigs demonstrate her increasing presence in the global club scene and solidify her reputation as a formidable live act.

With her classical training, keen visual sense, and attunement to rich textures, Klaudie continues to shape a distinctive voice within the contemporary minimalist landscape. Whether conducting cinematic introspection or tapping raw, late-night warehouse intensity, her music is idiosyncratic and richly immersive.

“Make This Place” / “Don’t Stop” out October 10 on DISTRIKT Sound, providing listeners with an equal measure of hypnotic, dark-club intensity that bridges the space between minimal house and warehouse culture.
