Trailblazing Brazilian talent Nonô is back with a bang on the sizzling new single ‘Domingo’, out on 4th August.
With over 200 millions streams and a starring Love Island appearance already under her belt, rising pop sensation Nonô is soundtracking the summer with her latest banger. ‘Domingo’ bridges together hard-hitting elements of dance pop and Nonô’s Brazilian swag to create the perfect club heater. Latin rhythms interweave with a club-ready groove and sweet synth melodies as Nonô’s brilliant bilingual hooks steal the limelight: “You’re just my type of gringo / no you don’t speak the lingo / So I’m gonna keep it simple”. “‘Domingo’ is about falling for a ‘gringo’ which is something I’ve done many times haha, Nonô says of the track’s origins. Some people believe being a gringo is a bad thing, but it really isn’t, it’s just what we call a person that is not from Latin America. In the music video, we thought it would be fun to show that there are as many types of gringos as there are of love. We created this fun bilingual tune by mixing elements of my Brazilian background with the hard-hitting beats of UK dance music”
