Porter Robinson Debuts His Latest Single and Releases his Full Set From Secret Sky

Last weekend fans were treated to sets by Porter Robinson, Madeon, and Jai Wolf among many others during Porter Robinson’s virtual Secret Sky festival.

During the event, Porter teamed up with the Recording Academy to raise funds for the MusiCares COVID-19 Relief Fund. Secret Sky raised over $115,000 during the stream and the entire amount will be donated towards the fund.

During one of the most awaited sets of the festival, that of Porter himself, fans were in for a treat. About an hour into his set which is packed with timeless classics and new music alike, he ended his set and thanked his fans as text on the projector behind his makeshift stage introduced the new single and played out the lyrics.

While there are still no official details regarding the release, Reddit came to the rescue for those who weren’t tuned in as a user had recorded that part of his set and shared it out.

Reminiscent of the classic Porter Robinson sound, “Look At The Sky” follows his earlier releases from his new album in the works set for release in 2020, Nurture. (link – https://themusicessentials.com/music/porter-robinson-reveals-new-album-this-year-nurture/ )

Porter’s set also contained a few more gems like this unexpected but surprisingly amazing mash-up of Avril Lavigne’s “I’m With You” and Porter’s “Language”.

Another highlight of his set was when Porter dropped the “Lil B – PORTER ROBINSON BASED FREESTYLE.“ He later took to social media to share the story behind it saying it was his Christmas present from his girlfriend Rika.

Porter just dropped his full set on YouTube to relive those memories as have Madeon and Jai Wolf. While Jay Wolf shared a mesmerizing audio-visual set, Porter’s Shelter collaborator Madeon shared an up-close and personal view of him working his magic on the decks. And as for Porter himself, it was an audiovisual delight, to say the least.
