Rameff has released his brand-new EP, the Kasbah Fever EP, a colorful three-track EP that fuses organic house with lush Middle-Eastern flavors and dark atmospheric sound design.
Released now on Sol Selectas, Sabo’s legendary label, the EP represents Rameff’s trademark blend of musicality and electronic groove with more than enough energy to consume dance floors around the globe.
The EP takes cues from varied soundscapes, marrying funky basslines with indie dance sensibilities alongside incorporating mystical instruments and worldly textures. The project has already garnered support from prominent DJs such as El Mundo and AFFKT and is set to emerge as a leading release in the global organic house movement.
Rameff isn’t new to creating ripples within the world of electronic music. Outside of Sol Selectas, his releases have appeared on respected imprints such as Baikal Nomads, Lump Records, Moblack, and Cosmic Awakenings. His range is also reflected in performance, where he presents hybrid DJ performances blending live instrumentation with electronic selections. Supported by his initial piano and live percussion background, he naturally introduces musicianship into the domain of house and techno, establishing a niche for himself as both producer and performer.
The Kasbah Fever EP takes off with three unique tracks, each serving up its own flavor. The opening track “Kasbah Fever” takes no time to introduce itself with its insistent bassline, trance-like sirens, whispery vocal layer swirl, and otherworldly flute melodies. It’s an energetic opening that sends listeners directly into an extraterrestrial desert groove. The second cut, “Luxor Madness,” changes the game with funky chorded guitars that define the center of its rolling rhythm, without losing the playful yet engrossing vibe. The delicate closing track, “Goddess of Euphoria,” goes full tech, with Arabic-infused melodies interweaved with sensual vocals, leaving the EP in a lusty, atmospheric conclusion.
Together, these three tracks demonstrate Rameff’s skill at balancing groove, narrative, and cultural sensibility within his music. Each song provides something new yet cohesive, allowing the release to be versatile enough for intimate club sets and expansive festival stages.
With Kasbah Fever, Rameff continues to extend the limits of organic house while remaining authentic to his origins as a performer. The EP documents not only his skill at sound design but also his enthusiasm for incorporating live aspects into electronic performance.
This drop solidifies Sol Selectas’ status as a label that releases forward-thinking, internationally influenced house music. Consistent to reputation, Kasbah Fever is colorful, rich-textured, and imbued with personality – just the sort of thing that listeners have grown to anticipate from Rameff as well as Sol Selectas.
