Rene Amesz introduces his new creation ‘Liam’. Named after his son, it’s a track that underlines the Dutchman’s taste for catchy and percussive tech house, already receiving immense DJ support, officially out now through Spinnin’ Deep.

Rene Amesz is on fire. Playing clubs and festivals all around, he’s established himself as one of the household names in Dutch nightlife. His productions are in much demand, released on labels like Spinnin’ Deep, Toolroom, Suara and Kittball, while Amesz has finetuned his sound from chunky house to more tech and deep styled records.

Last year, he successfully combined forces with Ferreck Dawn, immediately delivering something special with ‘Lord’, an instant floor favorite featuring subtle basses and groovy percussion alongside warm, soulful vocals. This was followed up by ‘Rosie’, a record where the duo explored its unique flow even further. Both records became favorite DJ weapons, showcasing both artists’ ever evolving production talent.

Perfecting his sound into a fresh 2017 release, Rene Amesz now returns on solo duty with ‘Liam’, a strong percussive piece of tech house, featuring exciting chants and vintage drum rhythms. The track already received enormous DJ support, inlcuding the likes of Stacey Pullen, Moodymanc, Claptone, Tiga, Dennis Ferrer, Popof, Shadow Child, Blonde, Daniel Bortz, Yousef, Chris Lake, Camelphat, Gorgon City, BBC Radio’s Monki and Danny Howard, and many, many others.

Why the track is called ‘Liam’ is answered by the man himself:

“My oldest son got to pick a name for this song. What did he do….!!!??? He picked is own name for this chunky stormer!!!“ – Rene Amesz
