Monstercat’s very own saxophone-playing Bigfoot Saxsquatch returned to the label today, unveiling his funky new single, “Madness.”
Drawing inspiration from nostalgic theme songs of old cartoons like Looney Tunes, Saxsquatch transforms an original cinematic composition with his addition of lively piano riffs, bouncy marimbas, and upbeat harmonies.
The pulsating bassline, thumping drums, and bright synth stabs make for a high-octane electro-house record with a sexy twist. With Season 6 of Rocket League underway, fans and gamers alike can hear “Madness” in the Season 6 Gameplay Trailer and in-game on March 30.
Saxsquatch shares, “Sometimes you need some sax to get away from all the madness.”
