Spilt Milk 2025 Lineup Drops—and It’s Kendrick Lamar Leading the Charge

Kendrick Lamar is making his way back to Australia for Spilt Milk 2025, and this time, he’s bringing Doechii along for the ride.

After a year-long break that left fans wondering if Spilt Milk was done for good, the beloved Aussie music festival is storming back in December 2025, and the lineup is wild. Headlining the four-city run are none other than Kendrick Lamar and Doechii, with big names like Sara Landry, Dominic Fike, and Schoolboy Q adding extra heat. For Australian fans, it’s not just a comeback, it’s a statement.

This will mark Kendrick’s first performance down under since 2022, and his return has fans losing it already. Doechii, meanwhile, is making her Australian debut, and the buzz couldn’t be bigger. Her energy, creativity, and genre-blurring style have made her one of the most exciting acts in global music right now. Add Kendrick’s live genius to the mix, and Spilt Milk 2025 is basically unmissable.

But it’s not just the headliners pulling weight here. The full lineup is stacked. D4vd, Nessa Barrett, and Sombr are set to light up the second tier alongside Aussie producer Skin on Skin. International artists like Rebecca Black (yes, that Rebecca Black) and Chance Peña are in the mix too, proving Spilt Milk’s pulling power isn’t slowing down. Homegrown talent like The Dreggs, The Rions, and Ninajirachi round out the list, giving the festival a perfect mix of global stardom and local love.

Spilt Milk started small, just a one-day event in Canberra back in 2016, but it’s come a long way. By 2019, the festival expanded to the Gold Coast and Ballarat, pulling in huge names like CHVRCHES, Khalid, and Juice WRLD. Ballarat’s 2019 edition was especially unforgettable (and heartbreaking), as it became Juice WRLD’s final show before his tragic death just a week later.

The festival has had its ups and downs. After a COVID break, it returned in 2022, only to sit 2024 out again, sparking rumors that it might never come back. Organizers even posted a cheeky “Sorry pookies” message last year, saying they’d be back when they could make all our dreams come true. Well, that time is now.

On May 1, organizers officially confirmed that Spilt Milk will return in December 2025 for four epic dates across Ballarat, Perth, Canberra, and the Gold Coast. The tour kicks off on December 6 and wraps up on December 14, giving fans across Australia a shot at catching this powerhouse of a lineup.

And make no mistake, this isn’t just another music fest. Spilt Milk has managed to bounce back in a landscape where many festivals, like the iconic Splendour in the Grass, have crumbled under financial strain and uncertain demand. Pulling in Kendrick Lamar in 2025 is a flex. Pairing him with Doechii, an artist on the brink of global domination, is a masterstroke.

The hype is real, and so is the pressure. Can Spilt Milk deliver on this dream lineup? All signs point to yes. With Kendrick’s lyrical mastery and Doechii’s raw stage presence leading the way, it’s already looking like one of the biggest musical events Australia will see next year. Add in a rich mix of talent from all corners of the globe, and it’s clear Spilt Milk 2025 isn’t just back, it’s better than ever.
