Staysick issues the lead single, “Resonance,” from his forthcoming four-track EP on NGHTMRE and SLANDER’s Gud Vibrations label.
Hailing from Calgary, Canada, the fast-rising producer Staysick offers up the first glimpse into the sonic universe that’s been in the making over the past two and a half years.
Fusing distorted mid-bass loops with piercing percussive patterns, “Resonance” is a brain-blistering amalgamation of subgenres that sets the single apart from his past releases. Derived from elements of trap and heavy dubstep, the track reverberates with an ineffable energy that persists throughout the entirety of the track.
Staysick shares his thoughts on the single: “‘Resonance’ is my favorite track from the EP mainly due to its BPM and sound design. It’s a sound that I have always seemed to come back to, which is that 130 BPM dubstep and neuro-fused hybrid trap.”
“Resonance” is a genre-blurring bass track that shows a whole dimension of the multifaceted producer Staysick, and serves as a solid first look at his imminent EP.
Staysick’s new single “Resonance” is available on all streaming platforms via Gud Vibrations.
