The Underground Live Forever Podcast launches on December 9, 2025, and already seems destined to be one of the standout global additions in the progressive house community.
The brainchild of label captains Paul Thomas and Das Pharaoh at UV, the ULF Podcast is the world’s first-ever dedicated prog house podcast-a slickly produced blend of exclusive DJ sets, meaningful conversation, and that unmistakable sense of camaraderie which underpins the UV brand.
Every show brings along a different concept: up to four DJs present short yet striking three- or four-track mixes, showcasing brand-new music, personal favourites, and unreleased gems. Between those mini-sets, Paul and Das sit down with their guests and chat them through the mix they just played, their artistic journeys, and life behind the scenes. Because the hosts are actually friends with many of the featured artists, every conversation feels warm, natural, and refreshingly unscripted.
The vibe is less “interview” and more “chatting with family.” The first three episodes were filmed and recorded during Amsterdam Dance Event 2025 inside Armada Studios, a setting which perfectly encapsulates true live energy. With each session, curious listeners assemble around the studio as music spills into the hallway.
A mix of spontaneous crowd energy and intimate storytelling really gives this podcast a unique texture which separates it from anything else in the genre. Episode 1 launches the series with tremendous force. Progressive legend Ruben Karapetyan opens with a mesmeric four-track mix-including one unreleased standout tune-followed by a discussion about touring and creative flow. The reins are then taken by Brooklyn’s Mir Omar, who showcases a dreamy, atmospheric set that slides seamlessly into deep, emotive territory. Warm, breakbeat-tinged vibes from Florida favorite Blake Jarrell are next, inspired by his years of working alongside Armin van Buuren.
Finally, Das Pharaoh closes the debut with a sleek, powerful mini-mix that reminds listeners exactly why he’s held in such high regard. Starting now, new episodes of Underground Live Forever Podcast drop every Tuesday across YouTube and all major streaming platforms.
