Following her mau5trap debut with “The One,” Bay Area-native and LA-based artist Wenzday teams up with LA’s underground sensation Bingewatch for their aptly-titled single “Shake.”
A four-on-the-floor delight with geometric sound design, this club-ready thrasher is slated for release Friday, April 8 via hau5trap.
From her early beginnings at the prestigious ICON Collective, to her timely coalescing with Dash Radio, Wenzday is a jack-of-all-trades. The multi-hyphenate cut her teeth on the sounds of the underground before catapulting into stardom. Between hosting her own radio show every Wednesday on Insomniac Radio, to her work as a co-founder of the hit bass label 40oz Cult, there’s nothing Wenzday can’t do. A certified force both in the studio and on-stage, the blossoming producer has graced prominent festivals like Coachella, EDC Las Vegas, Lost Lands, Nocturnal Wonderland, Beyond Wonderland, and more. With releases spanning labels like Confession, Dim Mak, Insomniac Records, and a recent mau5trap debut, Wenzday brings her sophisticated sound design and explosive expertise to hau5trap for her new cutting-edge single “Shake.”

A synergistic collaboration designed for the dancefloor, Wenzday taps fellow LA producer Bingewatch as her co-writer and collaborator for “Shake.” Inspired by the fringes of the Los Angeles underground, Bingewatch is a tech-house champion with releases on labels like Sink or Swim, Mixmash, House Call, Medium Rare, and co-signs from dance music legends like Martin Garrix, Laidback Luke, Dr. Fresch, Lane 8, and many more.
With multiple charting releases across Beatport and breakout records like his 2020 UNDERGROUND EP and 2021 Jack Em EP, Bingewatch is only just beginning. As he continues to grow his own event series Blind Tiger across LA, Bingewatch brings his multifaceted flow to the forefront of “Shake.”

The song came together really naturally, after just one session in the studio we had a playable version which we got to play together through the end of 2021 at a bunch of sick after hours, clubs, and event festivals like EDC Orlando.
