Leading Spanish promoters Creaductions are linking with legendary party people Mike & Claire Manumission for a huge New Year’s Day event called AURORA.
Taking place at the former Olympic d’Horta Velodrome in Barcelona, the New Years Day party named after the Roman Goddess AURORA celebrates the coming of 2018.
Art decoration for this musical feast will be taken care of by Mike & Claire Manumission, known around the world for bringing to life the most theatrical, weird & wonderful parties Ibiza has ever seen.
As such expect to be transported to a modern day fairytale for grownups. As you step through the wardrobe you will be invited to leave the world behind you, and lose yourself in a land blessed with the spirit of AURORA.
The venue is iconic and perched upon the upper level is a tent which will be transformed into the dreamscape of AURORA, with the music delivered by a four-point L´Acoustics sound system. 1500 people will be welcomed from 5pm to 5am and there will also be 2 ample outdoor chill-out areas to relax and enjoy all sorts of good food, drinks, and cocktails which will keep even the most seasoned partygoers well fuelled for the adventures at hand.
Musically, house titan Nic Fanciulli plays a special three-way back to back with Circoloco regular and This And That man Davide Squillace, and Hi Ibiza resident Andrea Oliva. Fast rising Belgian techno star Amelie Lens plus Life & Death and Dystopian alumni Monoloc also bring the heat. Another big techno star in Spanish Giant Cristian Varela also plays, with Neapolitan techno Legend Gaetano Parisio; This and That based duo Haiku 575; and local talent Creaductions and A Night Called Techno’s Victor Fernandez rounding off the bill.
