coffee creamers recall

More than 75,000 bottles of International Delight coffee creamer have been recalled due to complaints of spoilage and illness, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced this week.

If you’re a fan of flavored creamers, you’ll want to check your fridge, two popular flavors have been pulled from shelves across 31 states.

Which Coffee Creamers Are Being Recalled?

The recall affects two flavors of International Delight coffee creamer, both sold in 32-ounce (1 quart) bottles:

  • Hazelnut International Delight Coffee Creamer
    • Best-Used-By Date: July 3, 2025
    • Recall Number: F-0626-2025
    • UPC: 0 41271 02565 2
  • Cinnabon Classic Cinnamon Roll International Delight Coffee Creamer
    • Best-Used-By Date: July 2, 2025
    • Recall Number: F-0625-2025
    • UPC: 0 41271 01993 3

The recall was voluntarily initiated by Danone North America, the parent company of International Delight, after receiving consumer complaints about spoiled texture and illness.

Is This a Food Safety Risk?

Danone has stated that while the creamers do not meet quality standards due to premature spoilage, there is no evidence of a direct food safety risk.

“We take every concern to heart, because this is not the quality we strive for,” the company said in a statement.

Where Were the Recalled Products Sold?

The recalled creamers were distributed to 31 states, including:

Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, North Carolina, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.

If you purchased an International Delight Hazelnut or Cinnabon Classic Cinnamon Roll creamer in any of these states, check the label for the Best-Used-By Date and UPC code.

What Should You Do If You Have One of These Creamers?

The FDA recommends discarding any affected creamer immediately.

  • If you have already consumed the product and feel sick, seek medical attention.
  • For a refund or more information, consumers can contact International Delight’s Consumer Care Line at 1-(800)-441-3321.

With flavored coffee creamers being a morning staple for millions, product recalls can be frustrating, especially when they involve spoilage and potential health concerns.

This recall comes amid increasing scrutiny over food safety and quality control. While Danone insists the issue does not pose a major health risk, consumers remain wary about food spoilage and manufacturing problems.

If you or someone you know regularly buys International Delight coffee creamers, check your fridge and take action. It’s better to be safe than sorry.
