Dance music powerhouse, David Guetta was all set to play in Bengaluru today on a charitable note. The ‘Guetta4Good’ show was focused on making a special contribution towards underprivileged children from leading children’s non-profit organization, Magic Bus with all the funds raised from the performance.
The performance has been cancelled and Sunburn CEO, Karan Singh tells us why –
“Due to the present law & order situation in Bengaluru following the events that transpired around New Year’s Eve, the authorities have recommended against holding the David Guetta concert scheduled today in the city. We at Sunburn tried our very best to make it happen but the authorities understandingly are not prepared to take any chances. Hence today’s concert unfortunately stands cancelled. We hope to reschedule the concert subject to approval from the artist and the respective authorities. We will be back with more information as soon as possible. Bookmyshow will be in touch with all ticket holders for the next steps. Other shows in Mumbai, New Delhi and Hyderabad are on as per schedule.”
Judging by what happened on New Year’s Eve, this may just turn out to be a good move till the law & order situation calms down in the city of Bengaluru. What do you think? Don’t forget to tell us in the comments’ section below.
In case you also missed, Robin Schulz will no longer be a part of the tour due to unforeseen circumstances.
