‘Locked and Loaded (Hardwell Edit)’ brings together another triad of incredible talent with Domeno, fellow Montreal artist Michael Sparks and #1 DJ on the planet Hardwell, all combining to craft this potent slice of fiery electro house.
Available now through Revealed Recordings, ‘Locked and Loaded’ is undoubtedly the track on everyone’s lips after the astonishing reception it received during Hardwell’s recent Tomorrowland set. Building from a pulsating introduction, before leaping into a colossal drop and mutating into a jittery, thumping, dance floor filler, the track is an eclectic mix of styles and textures, seamlessly transitioning between booming, mountainous bass and an ethereal, melodic middle section.
The enormous, groove laden, house vibes are certainly the centrepiece of the track, however, with the added influence of Hardwell’s ear for scope and size, as well as the progressive, glitchy melodies that Michael Sparks brings to the table, the track takes on a life of its own, effortlessly flitting between genres, textures and emotions.
