After a string of releases and standout collaborations on some of the prominent Drum & Bass labels, London-based singer and producer/DJ duo Deuce & Charger have emerged as a fresh new sound in melodic drum and bass.
The duo’s distinctive song-writing and electro-inspired production style has seen their music released on labels like Viper Recordings, Liquicity, Technique Recordings, Subsphere, and High Tea Music; while their music has been championed by industry heavyweights like Matrix & Futurebound and Rene LaVice, Dossa & Locuzzed, Chords, and many more!
Deuce & Charger capped off 2019 by releasing ‘Pressure’, in collaboration track with Toronto Is Broken. Pulling off that rare trick of smashing it on club systems while also having the hooks to sound big on radio and streaming, ‘Pressure’ was added to Spotify’s Massive Drum & Bass playlist on release and firmly established both artists as “ones to watch” for 2020.
The duo started 2020 with ‘Shadowplay’ and ‘Stay Tonight’, and for their third release of the year, Deuce & Charger have delivered a sumptuous number on Lost Together Music.
Beginning with a seriously good jungle break and timeless-sounding synth riff, Deuce & Charger have brought the summer vibes early with tropical rhythms and sunshine-soaked analogue synths on their new single, ‘Lies’. The smooth vocals glide over the top with a lyrical message, and as we approach the climax, the addictive chorus vocal hook builds to a crescendo of kick drums and risers, before crashing into a euphoric, dance-floor moving drop.
