Ally Brooke just pulled off one of the most heartfelt and private celeb weddings of the year, and fans are loving the realness of it all.
On May 3, the 31-year-old former Fifth Harmony star said “I do” to her longtime partner, Will Bracey, 38, in an emotional, intimate ceremony at the dreamy Hotel Bel-Air in Los Angeles. The couple scrapped their original big wedding plans and opted instead for a personal sunset vow exchange that they’ll never forget.
The only person present besides the bride and groom? Their officiant, Pastor Judah Smith. That’s it. Ally called married life “the most incredible feeling I’ve ever felt” and said, “I love being a wife, and I love my husband so much.” It doesn’t get more romantic than that.
Even though the original vision was a bigger celebration with friends and family, Ally and Will decided to follow their hearts. “The whole time I had envisioned a big wedding,” Ally admitted, “but I’m forever grateful and glad that we did it that way because it could not have been more intimate and more incredible.” While they plan to host something with family in the fall, this small ceremony was exactly what they needed. Everyone in their inner circle was supportive, too. “They were like, ‘Look, if you want it to be just you, it should be just you,’” Ally recalled. Will added, “We’ll do something soon with them… But we wanted to do this, and I’m so glad we did.”
Ally looked stunning in a gown designed by Lee Petra Grebenau, while the ceremony was organized by Kelsey Events, whom they brought on board back in August 2024. The whole vibe of the day was soft, beautiful, and full of meaning. Floral arrangements added a romantic touch, and as Ally walked down the aisle, a violinist played a live rendition of Kari Jobe’s “Holy Spirit.” Cue the waterworks.
And here’s the wildest part, Judah Smith wasn’t a random officiant they picked at the last minute. Will revealed that they first met him over ten years ago in a hotel lobby in Guadalajara, Mexico, back when Ally was still touring with Fifth Harmony. Ally had been dreaming about having him officiate their wedding for years. “Even before we got engaged, I dreamed of having him as our pastor to do the ceremony,” she said. “His words were powerful over us, and it was unforgettable. We were all sobbing.”
The emotions didn’t stop there. Ally spent the night before the wedding pouring her heart into her vows. “I basically stayed up the whole night writing my vows,” she said, then added that she even made some final tweaks the morning of the big day. The couple exchanged both traditional and personal vows, creating a perfect blend of old-school and heartfelt.
The love story between Ally and Will started long before this wedding. Will worked as the tour manager for Fifth Harmony, and that’s how they first met. Their bond grew stronger over the years, even through all the craziness that came with being in a chart-topping girl group. From tour life to wedding life, these two have clearly been on a journey together.
Now that they’re officially married, the couple is planning a honeymoon for the summer, and the next chapter may involve expanding their family. “We both have a timeline,” Ally shared, “but not immediately.” Still, it’s on the horizon.
So while the world may have expected a star-studded celebrity bash, Ally Brooke and Will Bracey gave us something much rarer, a wedding that was 100% about them, their history, and the love they’ve built. From Guadalajara to Los Angeles, from tour buses to Hotel Bel-Air, it’s been one incredible ride.
