Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth shared a high-profile on-again-off-again relationship that spanned over a decade long.
The pair met while shooting the Nicholas Sparks flick, “The Last Song” way back in 2010. Filming the movie turned out to be quite the romantic experience for the starlets, where the actors spent their free time jet skiing in the ocean and slurping seafood on the sandy beaches of Tybee Island.
While their characters were falling in love on screen, Cyrus and Hemsworth developed some major feelings for one another off-screen as well. So much so, that the Australian hunk ended up dumping his high school sweetheart for the Hannah Montana alum.
Eventually, after several years of dating, the pair finally decided to tie the knot. Cyrus and Hemsworth shocked fans when they got married in a small and intimate gathering, taking place in the backyard of their Tennessee home.
While some fans rooted for the couple’s happy ending, others believed that despite their undeniable love for one another, Hemsworth and Cyrus’s personalities are too polarizing for them to ever work out in the long run.
But according to several reports, as well as a handful of easter eggs in Miley Cyrus’s “Flowers” music video, it looks like opposing personalities aren’t the only thing that led to the end of their relationship.
As it turns out, Liam Hemsworth allegedly had a history of cheating on Miley Cyrus with several women during their marriage. 14, to be exact. And according to a report by Pop Tingz, the “Malibu” singer deliberately filmed her music video for her award-winning single “Flowers” inside the home that her former husband used to cheat on her with throughout their marriage.
The Original Version Of Miley Cyrus’s ‘Flowers’ Was a Lot More Flattering Towards Liam Hemsworth
“Flowers” is a song that’s all about self-love and inner strength. Yet believe it or not, this award-winning anthem which is famous for self-empowerment, was once a co-dependent ballad about Cyrus pining after Hemsworth.
The singer revealed how the song was originally recorded, telling British Vogue, “I wrote it in a really different way. The chorus was originally: ‘I can buy myself flowers, write my name in the sand, but I can’t love me better than you can.’ It used to be more, like, 1950s,” she explained to the magazine. “The saddest song, like, ‘Sure, I can be my own lover, but you’re so much better.’” Eventually, the pop star took a more empowering approach. “The song is a little fake it till you make it,” said Cyrus, “which I’m a big fan of.”
The ‘Flowers’ Music Video is Filled With Easter Eggs That Allude To Liam Hemsworth Cheating Accusations
While this is all speculation, and nothing has been confirmed nor denied by Cyrus, several sources claim the “Flowers” music video is simply brimming with easter eggs that reflect on Liam Hemsworth’s alleged infidelity.
For starters, the one thing we absolutely can confirm is that Cyrus released the record-breaking hit “Flowers” on Liam Hemsworth’s birthday. Coincidence? We think not.
Another bombshell report is that the music video was filmed in the same mansion where Hemsworth would allegedly go to cheat on Cyrus with 14 different women!
While the singer has yet to confirm or deny the cheating allegations, she did say “Flowers” is 100% rooted in her real-life journey. “What’s special about ‘Flowers’ is it’s a story and a song I earn. It’s honest. I’m extremely emotionally attached to (the song) because I’ve lived every syllable of it,” she revealed in a recent interview.
