Diddy Used Biggie-Inspired Alias for Secret Hotel Stays

Diddy’s secret hotel alias and outrageous room routines just came to light, and they’re as wild as you’d expect.

In a bombshell court testimony on May 21, Sean “Diddy” Combs’ former assistant George Kaplan pulled back the curtain on what it was really like to arrange the mogul’s travel – and it involved a shady hotel name linked to Biggie Smalls and a whole lot of bizarre requests.
Kaplan, who worked closely with Combs and his chief of staff Kristina Khorram, told a Manhattan federal jury that hotel arrangements for the Bad Boy Records founder were hectic and over-the-top. Sometimes, he’d be given just a few hours to prep rooms in cities like Los Angeles, New York, or Miami, and the instructions were painfully specific. From unpacking special items to securing total privacy, Kaplan was expected to make it all happen – fast.

One of the biggest revelations? Combs used the alias “Frank Black” when checking into hotels. According to Kaplan, this pseudonym was a play on “Frank White,” the nickname for the late Christopher Wallace, better known as Notorious B.I.G. or Biggie Smalls – the first artist signed to Combs’ Bad Boy Records. It was all about protecting Combs from fans, media, and anyone else who might connect the dots.

Two of Diddy’s favorite hotels were also named: the InterContinental in Los Angeles and Trump International Hotel & Tower in NYC. The LA InterContinental was the site of the infamous 2016 incident where Combs was seen on surveillance video violently throwing Cassie Ventura, his ex, to the ground and kicking her near the elevator bank. The footage has since gone viral, igniting public outrage.

Kaplan also described what went into prepping the hotel suites. He’d carry and unpack a bag filled with essentials – but these weren’t your usual travel must-haves. The bag typically included clothes, a speaker, candles, liquor, baby oil, and Astroglide. When asked who paid for these items, Kaplan admitted it was often him – using a corporate credit card. He also said Diddy gradually began to trust him more, giving him deeper access and more responsibility.

Things got darker when Kaplan testified that Diddy would often call him from hotel rooms asking for food, clothes, and “sometimes drugs.” He didn’t dodge the truth – simply stating, “I did it.” He also admitted to personally picking up drugs for Combs, including ketamine, which was often stored in the rapper’s toiletry bag alongside Advil.

And if you’re wondering who cleaned up the mess left behind after these wild nights – that’d be Kaplan, too. He testified to cleaning the rooms himself and remembered seeing piles of empty liquor bottles, Gatorade, and baby oil. When asked why he didn’t let hotel staff do it, Kaplan said it was “implied” that protecting Diddy’s image and privacy was part of his job.

All of this was revealed on the eighth day of Diddy’s ongoing trial, where he’s facing serious federal charges – including racketeering, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution. He has pleaded not guilty to all charges. If convicted, Combs could be sentenced to life in prison. For now, he remains behind bars at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn.

This testimony adds another jaw-dropping layer to a case already packed with disturbing details and celebrity drama. With each day in court, more of Diddy’s guarded lifestyle is being dragged into the spotlight.
