Ashley St. Clair isn’t holding back, and she just dropped a savage one-liner aimed straight at her ex, Elon Musk.
As the billionaire’s increasingly messy public feud with President Donald Trump heats up, St. Clair, who shares a 9-month-old son named Romulus with Musk, had a jaw-dropping response that left the internet stunned.
“Hey @realDonaldTrump,” she posted on X (formerly Twitter) on June 5, “lmk if u need any breakup advice.” Yep, she really said that, on Elon’s own platform, no less. And it’s not hard to see what (or who) she was referring to.

The timing couldn’t be more brutal. Musk and Trump’s once-bromantic political alliance is crumbling fast. Just a week after Musk officially stepped down from his role as head of Trump’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), it’s all turning ugly, and public.
It started when Musk slammed Trump’s prized “One Big Beautiful Bill” Act, calling it a financial disaster. Musk didn’t hold back, claiming the tax cut and spending bill would balloon the national debt and that the whole thing was reckless. He even claimed Trump owes him for winning the 2024 election, writing, “Without me, Trump would have lost the election. Such ingratitude.”

Trump, of course, didn’t take that lightly. On June 5, he fired back on Truth Social, suggesting he actually fired Musk, not the other way around. “Elon was ‘wearing thin’,” Trump wrote. “I asked him to leave, I took away his EV Mandate that forced everyone to buy Electric Cars that nobody else wanted… and he just went CRAZY!”

Musk denied it immediately, calling Trump’s version of events an “obvious lie” on X. And now, the gloves are off, with both men lobbing shots about campaign contributions, government contracts, and influence over policy. Musk, once a top advisor and public supporter, is now out, and his ego seems bruised.
It’s a massive shift from just months ago, when Musk gushed about Trump on Fox News, saying, “I love the president. I think President Trump is a good man.” Trump echoed the love right back, calling Musk a “super genius” and saying, “We have to protect our geniuses. We don’t have that many of them.”
But that bromance is clearly over, and Ashley St. Clair’s online burn may be the final cherry on top. Her not-so-subtle dig made it clear she’s watching the drama unfold, and maybe even enjoying it a little.
