Filmmaker and UFO investigator Mark Christopher Lee is making some bold claims. After the passing of Pope Francis and with the appointment of a new pontiff looming, Lee is urging the Vatican to release its knowledge about UFOs. He believes that if the Church is genuinely committed to spiritual truth and human enlightenment, it must stop hiding information that could drastically alter how we view our place in the universe.
Lee, who recently released a book titled God Versus Aliens, is deeply interested in the intersection of religion and extraterrestrial life. In his book, he explores how religious texts could be linked to UFO encounters, and he’s calling on the Vatican to be completely transparent about the matter. According to Lee, the Church has been withholding crucial information, including the so-called Third Secret of Fatima. This secret, which was reportedly given to three children in Portugal in 1917, has sparked controversy for years. While the Vatican has officially released a version of the secret, many researchers argue that the full truth has been kept under wraps.
Lee believes that what the children witnessed, an intense shining object, strange weather changes, and a radiant figure that delivered a message, is not what it’s often described as in religious texts. He argues that this wasn’t the Virgin Mary but rather a non-human intelligence trying to communicate. In Lee’s view, the Vatican is aware of this and has deliberately kept it hidden from the public.
The filmmaker’s call for transparency doesn’t stop there. He suggests that some of the wild and mysterious events described in religious stories could, in fact, be alien encounters. Lee points out that UFO sightings could involve extraterrestrial beings, but they might also be tied to secret military technology far more advanced than anything we currently understand. He insists that the public has a right to know the truth, urging the next pope to be fully open about the Church’s knowledge of UFOs and extraterrestrial life.
In his view, UFOs are not just a matter of little green men from outer space, they are likely a complex mix of extraterrestrial phenomena and highly classified military tech. It’s a conversation that Lee believes we all need to have.
