Georgia Harrison is not backing down in her fight against revenge porn and the growing menace of deepfake technology.

The former Love Island and The Only Way is Essex star is using her platform to raise awareness and demand action against image-based sexual abuse.

New Documentary: Porn, Power, Profit

In her latest two-part ITV documentary, Georgia Harrison: Porn, Power, Profit, she delves into the dark world of online sexual exploitation. The show exposes how explicit images and videos—both real and AI-generated—are being used without consent for profit.

Georgia, now 30, has been open about the traumatic experience of having a private video of her leaked online by her ex, Stephen Bear. Despite his conviction and jail time, she continues to face the painful reality of seeing the video resurface on multiple platforms.

Tracking Down the Culprits

One of the toughest moments for Georgia was realizing how widespread her leaked content remains.

“The hardest part for me was seeing how many places my video is still being shared. People send me clips all the time. It never fully goes away,” She shared.

As part of the documentary, Georgia investigates how these videos keep getting reuploaded, meeting with victims, activists, and even representatives from major porn sites to understand the lack of enforcement against non-consensual content.

The Bigger Picture: An Industry Problem

Georgia’s story is, unfortunately, not unique. The documentary highlights the alarming rise of deepfake pornography, where AI is used to create realistic but fake explicit images of individuals. Even minors are not safe from this technology.

She spoke with members of parliament and policymakers, demanding stricter regulations on content-sharing platforms.

“The only way to stop this is to hold these companies accountable. If they can’t make money from non-consensual videos, they’ll stop allowing them,” Georgia insisted.

Government Action on Deepfake Pornography

While the UK government has already passed the Online Safety Act to enforce better protections, many, including Georgia, believe it doesn’t go far enough. Home Secretary Yvette Cooper recently announced a new plan to criminalize AI-generated explicit content involving minors.

Georgia has urged lawmakers to go even further, calling for laws that make it easier for victims of revenge porn and deepfake abuse to remove their content from the internet.

Georgia is determined to make sure no one else has to suffer what she went through. Her message is clear: victims should not feel powerless. Through her activism, she is pushing for a world where explicit content can’t be weaponized against people.

Where to Watch

Georgia Harrison: Porn, Power, Profit airs on ITV2 and ITVX on February 18 and 19 at 9 PM.
