Hailey Bieber is letting the internet know she’s totally in on the joke.
In her latest appearance on Vogue’s In the Bag video series, she poked fun at every rumor that’s followed her online, from being a “nepo baby” to secretly casting spells on her husband, Justin Bieber. And yes, she made it hilarious.
As part of the video, Hailey emptied out her purse for the cameras and turned the whole thing into a comedy show. She started with her phone. “This is my phone. Very straightforward, obviously,” she said… Then he pulled out more phones and joked, “These are a couple more that I keep on me, and I really just use them for a lot of the simple stuff like surfing anonymously, commenting, stalking, viewing girls’ pages, making multiple accounts, you know, that kind of thing.”
Internet gossip about her social media behavior? Confirmed, but in a tongue-in-cheek kind of way. The joke didn’t stop there.
Next came the perfume moment. Hailey pulled out a bottle labeled “Eau d’Nepo,” saying, “This is my favorite perfume. I’ve basically been wearing this my entire life. I’m obsessed with it. It smells really vanilla-y. It’s really gorgeous. It really does all the work for you.” As the daughter of actor Stephen Baldwin and niece of Alec Baldwin, Hailey knows the nepo baby title isn’t going away. So instead of fighting it, she literally made it her fragrance. Icon behavior.
But the wildest moment? Hailey claimed she got a love potion from a witch to make Justin Bieber fall in love with her. Not even kidding.
“OK. So last but not least, this is a little tincture, a potion that I got. I would say probably when I was around 12, my dad flew me to go meet with this witch who lived in the mountains, and she made this specifically for me,” Hailey said straight-faced. “She told me that it would make a young Canadian pop star fall in love with me. So yeah, I’ve been taking this one for years. Absolutely love it. And, yeah, thanks, Dad.”
So yeah, the joke just got turned into a love spell conspiracy. Internet, do your thing.
But this video wasn’t all laughs. In her Vogue interview tied to the video, Hailey opened up about a terrifying medical scare after giving birth to her son, she suffered a life-threatening postpartum hemorrhage.
Describing the moment as “a little bit scary,” she said, “I trust my doctor with my life. And so I had peace that I knew she would never let anything happen to me. But I was bleeding really badly, and people die, and the thought crosses your mind.”
Even with months of prep, breathing techniques, acupuncture, yoga, pelvic floor therapy, workouts, walking, and weight training, her labor didn’t go as planned. At 39 weeks, her amniotic fluid began leaking, and she was medically induced.
Doctors gave her Pitocin to start contractions and used a Foley balloon to help dilate her cervix. Then they broke her water, and she labored for hours without an epidural. “That s*** was so crazy. That was not fun,” she admitted.
Despite all the chaos, Hailey came through with her usual mix of glam, humor, and raw honesty. Whether she’s cracking jokes about being a nepo baby, faking out fans with fake witchcraft, or opening up about real health scares, she’s putting it all out there, unfiltered and on-brand.
