Jesy Nelson has finally brought her newborn twins, Ocean and Story, home from the hospital, and the timing couldn’t have been more perfect.
The former Little Mix star and her partner Zion Foster welcomed the girls into the world on 15 May, more than eight weeks early. After a challenging start to life in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), the couple got to take their daughters home just in time for Jesy’s 34th birthday on 14 June.
Taking to Instagram, Jesy shared a touching photo of herself gazing at her baby girls, who were wearing matching babygros that read, “Happy birthday mummy.” She captioned the moment, “My babies made it home for my birthday,” with a teary-eyed emoji and a white heart.

Jesy had first announced the arrival of her daughters a few days after their early birth. At the time, she shared that Ocean Jade Nelson-Foster and Story Monroe Nelson-Foster were born at 31 weeks and 5 days. “It all happened so quickly, but we are so blessed that they are here with us, healthy and fighting strong! We’ve never felt more in love,” she wrote.

The singer’s pregnancy had been complicated by twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome, a serious condition that can put both babies at risk. Over the past few weeks, Jesy opened up about the emotional toll of having her daughters in NICU, where she often couldn’t hold them due to the wires, tubes, and medical equipment keeping them stable.
Alongside another heartfelt photo of her holding both babies as Zion smiled beside her, Jesy wrote, “Nothing or no one will ever be able to prepare you as a parent for NICU. It’s the most scary overwhelming feeling of emotions not being able to feel like you can protect your babies.”
She described how difficult it was not to have constant physical contact with her girls, especially when all she wanted was to comfort them. “It breaks your heart into a million pieces,” she said.
That same post marked a major milestone, the first time the twins were out of their separate incubators and reunited. “Slowly as the days go by and they get stronger and wires start to come away, moments like this feel like a dream,” Jesy added. “Having them reunited for the first time ever today was the most magical feeling I will never be able to describe.”
Jesy Nelson’s journey into motherhood has been far from easy, but now with Ocean and Story finally home, she’s beginning a new chapter full of love, healing, and plenty of cuddles. The couple is clearly smitten with their little fighters, and fans everywhere are sending well wishes as they settle into life as a family of four.
From global pop stardom to late-night feeds, Jesy’s life may look different now, but it’s clear she’s embracing every second.
