Miley Cyrus’s daring dress moment is breaking the internet again-and this time, it’s for her bold fashion choice at a New York album signing.
The 32-year-old superstar showed up in a completely sheer black Ludovic de Saint Sernin dress while promoting her new album, Something Beautiful, and fans can’t stop talking about it. With only black underwear beneath and no bra, she embraced the all-eyes-on-me look and accessorized with dark sunglasses, heels, and a retro updo with curled bangs.
Cyrus was photographed signing vinyls for fans outside of 30 Rock, exuding old-school Hollywood glam with a risqué twist. She later posted a few photos from the event on Instagram, writing, “Posed with the beautiful people who showed up at 30 Rock for @roughtradenyc.” Of course, the comments section exploded. “You’re such [an] icon,” one fan wrote, while another gushed, “Damn this dress 🔥.” One more simply screamed what everyone was thinking: “OKAY OKAY OKAY, YOU ATE THIS LOOK UP, MA’AM.”

But Miley’s not just serving looks-she’s bringing powerful music and visuals to match. Her latest visual album isn’t just a series of music videos. It’s a full-on musical movie, dropping in theaters worldwide on June 27. Cyrus told Harper’s Bazaar that the film is inspired by Pink Floyd’s The Wall, but with a glam twist. “A better wardrobe and more glamorous and filled with pop culture,” she teased.
The music, she explained, is rooted in emotion and healing. “Every song has these healing sound properties,” she said. “Whether they’re about destruction or heartbreak or death, they’re presented in a way that is beautiful… You can’t have a painting without highlights and contrast.” Something Beautiful isn’t just an album-it’s a layered reflection of her journey, showing the good, the ugly, and the growth.
That emotional depth even spilled into the making of the visuals. On Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Miley revealed that she landed in the ICU while filming a scene on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. “I caught something,” she said, joking that it must’ve come from the street itself. Her leg apparently “began to disintegrate… around the kneecap area,” which even freaked out the doctors. “To have a surgeon look at you and say, ‘Yuck…’ They open up cadavers!” she laughed. “They see inside the guts of humans, and they’re looking at me, telling me I’m disgusting.”
The gritty shoot was done on a small budget, and Miley confessed they filmed at night to avoid rental fees. “I had a big dream and a small budget,” she quipped. Classic Miley-bold, unapologetic, and doing the most with what she has.
