Selena Gomez has shared a heartfelt reflection on her wedding to Benny Blanco, calling the occasion a “joyful moment” that she wanted to celebrate with her fans.
Just five days after the couple tied the knot, the Rare Beauty founder posted an emotional letter on Instagram on October 2, expressing her gratitude to those who have supported her throughout her journey.

“As I step into one of the most special seasons of my life, I can’t help but think of you, my incredible friends who have been with me through every twist, turn, and chapter,” Selena wrote. She went on to acknowledge how deeply the love of her community has carried her, from her earliest days as a Disney Channel star to her music career and now her new chapter as a wife.
“From my first days on screen to the songs we’ve sung together, and now to this new beginning, your love and support have meant more to me than I could ever truly put into words,” she shared. Selena described her family, friends, and fans as “the ones who have lifted me up, believed in me, and reminded me of my own worth when I needed it most.”
She continued, “Thank you for being part of my journey, through the highs, the lows, and everything in between. You’ve been my safe place, my cheerleaders, and my constant reminder that I’m never walking alone.”
Alongside the letter, Selena announced a new Rare Beauty makeup kit inspired by the look she wore at the star-studded Santa Barbara wedding, which included guests such as Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Steve Martin, and Martin Short. “From my heart to yours, thank you for letting me share this milestone with you,” she added. “Here’s to love, to new chapters, and to the beauty we carry inside and out.”
The wedding itself was nothing short of magical. Selena showcased three custom Ralph Lauren gowns: a white halter-neck bridal gown, a corset-style halter dress adorned with 300 hand-shaped lace flowers, and a tea-length off-the-shoulder dress with a flared skirt.
Her Wizards of Waverly Place costar David DeLuise shared his perspective on the special day, calling it unforgettable. “Being there for the actual vows, everything that was said was so great. And when they opened the curtain for the first time in the day, the sun came out and it was sunset behind her. It was as if they were like, ‘Don’t worry. Cue the sun!’” he said on Instagram.
