Snoop Dogg’s granddaughter is finally home, and it’s the kind of news that makes you take a deep breath and smile. Born prematurely at just 25 weeks, Cori Broadus and fiancé Wayne Deuce’s baby girl had been in the NICU since February 28. Now, after nearly two intense months in the hospital, she’s back where she belongs, with her family.
In an interview with E! News, Snoop lit up talking about the homecoming: “That’s my baby, Tiny C. She just brought home my granddaughter.” His daughter Cori is about to celebrate her first Mother’s Day, and Snoop’s already thinking about it. “Hopefully we’re gonna do something special,” he said. “What we try to do is keep love in the air seven days a week.” Sounds like a house full of good vibes.
Cori’s journey wasn’t easy. She had to deliver early after doctors diagnosed her with HELLP syndrome, a dangerous pregnancy complication that can turn life-threatening fast. Cori thought it was just gas, but a quick doctor visit turned into an emergency c-section that likely saved both of them.
On Instagram, she got real about the whole experience. She posted a soft black-and-white pic of her baby’s tiny foot, writing: “I’ve cried and cried… blaming myself that I wasn’t able to give her all that she needed.” But she also expressed deep gratitude: “Baby girl came at 25 weeks today and she’s perfect as ever! Thank You God.”
She also shared a few raw moments on her Instagram Story, including a photo post-op. “1st c-section was success:) s/o to the man up above,” she wrote. Then she added, “If I would’ve waited a few more days it would’ve been really bad. Ladies please listen to your bodies and don’t believe everything you see on TikTok.”
Cori has already been through a lot, she was diagnosed with lupus when she was young and was hospitalized after suffering a stroke earlier this year. But this baby girl’s arrival and homecoming? Definitely a powerful turning point.
Now, it’s all about celebrating life, healing, and being surrounded by love. And with Snoop in the mix, you know that baby’s first playlist is gonna be fire.
