Taylor Swift’s Instagram Return
Taylor Swift returns back on Instagram after 100 days, and she’s here for one reason – to support her best friend Selena Gomez and her fiancé Benny Blanco’s new album, I Said I Love You First. On March 22, Swift took to Instagram Stories to express her excitement, writing:
“@selenagomez & @itsbennyblanco I LOVE THIS ALBUM SO MUCH. OH MY GODDDDDDDDDDDD.”
This marks Swift’s first Instagram post since December 11, 2024, when she last updated fans about her Eras Tour. While Swift has stayed quiet on social media, Gomez has been actively promoting her new album alongside Blanco.
Selena and Benny’s Album Promotion
In the lead-up to I Said I Love You First, Gomez and Blanco made several public appearances. On March 19, they joined Spotify’s Countdown To series and shared a hilarious story about attending one of Swift’s parties.
“As a couple, we went to Taylor’s party after some awards show,” Gomez recalled. “I don’t know – it was kind of cute, but I was mortified. Apparently, cool people don’t show up to parties on time.”
Blanco chimed in, teasing, “We’re the first people at every single party. You show up when like my mother shows up to a party.”
During an appearance on Hot Ones, Blanco admitted he wasn’t always a hardcore Swiftie until Gomez introduced him to her music.
“She did get me into [Swift’s music],” Blanco confessed. “I honestly didn’t know much before we started dating, but now I find myself singing her songs from 10 years ago in the car.”
Taylor’s History of Support
Swift has consistently shown support for Gomez and Blanco’s relationship. When they announced their engagement in December 2024, Swift left a playful comment under Gomez’s post:
“Yes, I will be the flower girl.”
Gomez and Blanco’s relationship has been a topic of discussion for fans, with their album offering a personal look into their love story. According to a press release, I Said I Love You First reflects their journe – from meeting to falling in love and looking toward the future.
