Blake Lively allegedly threatened to leak Taylor Swift’s private text messages if the pop star didn’t agree to publicly support her amid the “It Ends With Us” legal battle.
Due to the increasingly negative public perception of the Gossip Girl alum, the actress has reportedly been trying to re-establish her reputation with the help of some of her star-studded friends. In the past, Blake Lively has gotten public support from a handful of celebrities amid the “It Ends With Us” ongoing legal battle, including her co-stars from Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants (America Ferrera, Amber Tamblyn, Alexis Bledel), as well as some of her cast mates in “It Ends With Us” (Jenny Slate, Brandon Sklenar, and Colleen Hoover.)
Yet as more information has come out amid the “It Ends With Us” lawsuit, Lively’s A-list friends have been less inclined to speak out in support of the 37-year-old actress. Particularly, Taylor Swift.

Justin Baldoni’s lawyer Bryan Freedman stated that Blake Lively threatened Taylor Swift with the leakage of private conversations. If the “Gold Rush” singer didn’t make a social media post supporting Lively, the “Another Simple Favor” actress would release “10 years” of private text messages with Swift.
According to recent reports, the decade-long list of messages would concern the “Enchanted” songstress’s romantic life, revealing intimate details about her relationship with Travis Kelce, as well as her previous relationships with famous exes.
Swift hasn’t denied anything in regards to this narrative, leading some to believe there’s truth to it. An insider close to the pop star revealed that the messages Lively’s team threatened to leak were Swift’s “worst nightmare” to be unleashed to the public.
“She’s in an utter panic about how this is going to affect her,” the statement claimed of Swift. Furthermore, as Radar Online reports, the “I Did Something Bad” singer’s privacy is extremely important to her, so this entire situation has caused Swift to feel unnerved. “She is also extremely careful about what she shares among her inner circle, so the thought of her private messages being released is horrifying for her,” the inside source revealed.

Fans have seen this falling out slowly reveal itself, starting when Swift failed to invite Lively to the Super Bowl, despite the ex-BFF duo traditionally attending together. As time went on, further signs proved the celebs are no longer as close as they once were.
“Their friendship has halted,” an inside source close to Swift told People. “Taylor wants no part in this drama.”
