Elon Musk’s Daughter Vivian Wilson Opens Up About Family
Elon Musk’s estranged daughter, Vivian Wilson, is making headlines after revealing she doesn’t know how many siblings she has. In a new interview with Teen Vogue, Wilson, 20, admitted that Musk’s growing family is a mystery even to her. With the tech mogul fathering 14 children with four different women, Wilson says she found out about some of her half-siblings at the same time the public did.
“I Have Four Siblings” – Wilson’s Perspective
When asked about her siblings, Wilson initially stated, “Well, I have four of them.” She was referring to the children Musk shares with his ex-wife, Justine Wilson. The two had twins, Vivian and Griffin, and triplets, Kai, Saxon, and Damian. However, when questioned further about her half-siblings, Wilson said, “I do not actually know how many siblings I have, if you include half-siblings.”
Discovering Siblings Through Social Media
Wilson revealed that she found out about Musk’s children with Neuralink executive Shivon Zilis when the rest of the world did. Musk and Zilis have four children, the most recent being baby Seldon Lycurgus, born in 2025. Similarly, she learned about Musk’s second child with singer Grimes from a Reddit post.
“For a time, me and Grimes were not really in communication because I wasn’t in communication with anyone in the family,” Wilson said, adding that this still holds true today.
A Distant Relationship with Musk’s Family
Wilson clarified that she doesn’t keep up with her father’s side of the family, nor does her mother, Justine. “She’s divorced, werk,” Wilson remarked, indicating she doesn’t concern herself with Musk’s personal life. When asked if she’s close to her siblings, she simply responded, “That’s a question.”
Wilson also mentioned she has only met her younger brother, X Æ A-12 (nicknamed X), once when he was very little.
Elon Musk’s Expanding Family Tree
Musk first became a father in 2002 with the birth of Nevada Alexander, who tragically passed away at 10 weeks old. After his five children with Justine, Musk went on to have more children with multiple partners:
- With Grimes: X Æ A-12, Exa Dark Sideræl, and Techno Mechanicus
- With Shivon Zilis: Strider, Azure, Arcadia, and Seldon Lycurgus
- With Ashley St. Clair: One child (announced in 2025)
