Label-favourite Ace Aura returns to Monstercat Uncaged today alongside budding producer Deadcrow and multi-faceted artist Roniit for their debut collaboration, “WAIT4U.”

“WAIT4U” arrives as a riveting bass adventure that seamlessly blends Deadcrow’s spellbinding hardwave soundscapes with Ace Aura’s enthralling melodic riddim elements. The duo meticulously craft a sonic foundation, offering the ultimate canvas for Roniit to enchant listeners with her sultry vocals, leaving mesmerizing echoes traversing each note. The second drop welcomes a hardstyle fake-out. It combines rumbling kicks and rolling psytrance bass solidifying an electrifying production venture for the artists. This results in creative leaps that push boundaries beyond their signature sounds.

Ace Aura shares, “I’ve been a fan of Deadcrow’s work for a while so I just decided one day to send him a DM on Instagram and see if he wanted to work on something. He was down and the rest is history!”

Deadcrow adds, “Ace Aura and I got in touch because he had already been playing out quite some hardwave stuff, and I already was a fan of what he was doing with melodic riddim. So inevitably we had to make a track together. The main focus was to bridge the gap between hardwave and melodic riddim/dubstep.”

Roniit comments, “Sometimes when I collaborate with people I love to try to channel the feelings and story of the instrumental through my writing. When I listened to their track I immediately visualized a post apocalyptic society. I tried to write from the perspective of someone who had one person left in the world.”

Emerging from McKinney, Texas, Ace Aura has etched himself as an unforgettable name in the realm of electronic music. Since 2012, his groundbreaking compositions, notably his pioneering projects in melodic/future riddim, such as the second most-voted song on Monstercat’s ‘Best of 2022,’ “UMBRA (feat. Voicians),” have redefined the landscape of modern bass music. Ace is becoming a household name on bass festival lineups, recently returning to Lost Lands, where he held a Boiler Room-inspired set, Bass Canyon, and Electric Zoo. He also took to Toxic Summer, Foam Wonderland, and Monstercat Compound for his Canada debut. This year saw him headline his first-ever tour, Crystal Coalition, where he graced the stages at prominent venues such as Larimer Lounge in Denver, Darkstar Theatre in Tempe, and The Loft at Skyway Theatre in Minneapolis. His music has garnered the likes of Skrillex, Excision, who he opened for at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles and Tacoma Dome, and Subtronics, who he collaborated with on “Resist,” hailed as an ‘anthemic masterpiece’ by Forbes, and opened for at Red Rocks Amphitheatre.

Hailing from the Netherlands and now based in the States, Deadcrow is cementing himself as a solidifying force across the electronic genres of trap and hardwave. His discography has been supported by heavyweights including Alison Wonderland, RL Grime, Zeds Dead, and others growing his momentum in the scene. He has taken over the decks at Rampage Open Air, Imagine Music Festival, Waakan Festival, and joined Mersiv and Ravenscoon for direct support on their respective tours.

Roniit is an awakening light in the music realm. A multi-faceted artist specializing in songwriting, producing, visual art, and vocalizing, she continues to display her talent through hit records like “Emptiness” with One True God and “Parasite” with AWAY and Crywolf. Beyond her musical talents, she recently unveiled her self-designed oracle deck, showcasing the depth of her creative skill sets.

Fresh off his performance opening for Herobust at Exchange LA last week, Ace Aura is gearing up to open for Crankdat at Webster Hall tomorrow, October 14 with TYNAN for a special B2B. Fans can stay tuned for more music and performances to come from the melodic riddim pioneer.

PNW fans can catch Deadcrow live next week as he heads to Midtown in Bend, 45 East in Portland, and Showbox in Seattle on his current fall tour.
