AŸA is a female singer-songwriter, producer & artist based in Berlin.
Her composition combines a unique twist on her Moroccan and Yemeni roots with contemporary pop and r&b melodies, which is demonstrated beautifully on her latest single, ‘Sidewalk’.

The lyrics of the song are a metaphor for an ongoing relationship that is actually not going anywhere. Instead of riding into the sunlight with the one you love, you find yourself taking dark paths and compromises for the one you love even though it feels so wrong. “Time goes by. Days come and days go. I keep faking that I’m not alone”.
The song was written, composed & produced by Aya together with Kurtis Wells (Wiz Khalifa , Bibi Bourelly, Conor Maynard/Sam Feldt), Johnny Kulo, and Gavriel in Berlin.
