After kickstarting the year with his groovy single “Autumn Leaves”, multi-faceted producer Bishu returned to Monstercat today with his colourful new track, “WYGD”.
Arriving as the second taste off his forthcoming EP, ‘BXU’, the crisp percussion, plucked bassline, and lively vocal chops blend perfectly together, reminiscent of Bishu’s meticulous attention to detail heard throughout his catalogue.
Written in collaboration with his Twitch chat, the vibrant single was crafted around the live feedback and suggestions made by his fans on the track’s key features such as BPM, key, and melody. With its bright synths and upbeat energy, “WYGD” sets the tone for Bishu’s EP coming April 2022.
Bishu shares, “I had no idea which direction this song was going to take given the Twitch chat’s live feedback. It ended up being a sort of poppy/summery vibe with an upbeat chorus. Once we got the drop idea down, I knew this one would be one of my favourites of the bunch. Very happy with it!”
