Monstercat community favourite Blanke makes an electrifying entrance on Monstercat Uncaged today with melodic dubstep single “Heaven.”

Collaborating with virtuosic producer Rival and vocalist KC, the record demonstrates an immersive blend of each artists’ stylings and offers a taste of Blanke’s upcoming Monstercat debut EP, ‘Emergence.’

“Heaven” serves as a poignant depiction of mental health struggles, with lyrics touching upon themes of dissociation and the battle to overcome darkness. “Heaven” offers a compassionate message to those navigating tough times, emphasizing that during overwhelming moments, they are not alone in their struggles. Through KC’s emotive vocals, the record extends a gentle reminder that seeking help is an act of courage and a worthwhile endeavour.

Seamlessly blending powerful, heavier musical elements with ethereal, orchestral melodies, “Heaven” showcases Blanke’s evolution as an artist alongside Rival’s unique creative prowess while bringing KC’s vulnerable lyrics to life. Rival lays the track’s foundation with a stunning piano structure, complemented by Blanke’s background that spans the intensity of bass and the intricacies of melodic sounds. Together, their musical synergy transcends electronic boundaries, crafting a breathtaking convergence of diverse realms.

Blanke shares, “I fell in love with this record from the moment I heard the bare orchestral bed that Rival sent. It was such an inspiring starting point for us to create from. I wanted to switch the more common arrangement to have a heavy dubstep drop first, and then finish on a soaring melodic moment. The journey it takes you on is so exciting and it’s been such a great part of my sets. I hope it resonates with you!”

Rival adds, “Working alongside Blanke and KC was a great experience. It’s special being able to integrate all our individual styles into a track, and I’m super happy with how it came out. After spending time with Blanke at ADE, we put the final touches on the song and I’m super happy with how it came out. I hope you all enjoy it.”

KC comments, “‘Heaven’ is a vulnerable mental health song and I just want to thank anyone who takes the time to listen. I hope it connects with people and can help articulate a sometimes hard-to-describe feeling. If things feel heavy, just know you’re not alone and that it’s okay to ask for help. Life is hard, but worth it.”

Blanke is on a roll, electrifying stages globally from the iconic Lollapalooza in Chicago & Paris to EDC Las Vegas and HARD Summer. Gracing renowned venues like Red Rocks (opening for Zeds Dead), and a sold-out headline show at Exchange in Los Angeles, there’s no doubt he’s cemented himself as an in-demand performer in the live circuit. His discography includes hit tracks such as “Used To Losing You” with helloworld, Luma, and JT Roach and his viral remix for Ray Volpe’s “Laserbeam” under his Drum & Bass alias ÆON:MODE while also working with heavyweights in the scene like Illenium, REZZ, Seven Lions, and Sullivan King – who he made an official remix for on “Someone Else.” Taking his career to new heights, last year he evolved his drum and bass project ÆON:MODE into its own lane. He’s not only unveiled new music under the alias, but also commanded festival stages at Ember Shores and Monstercat’s ADE Showcase with more on the horizon.

Seasoned pianist, composer, and producer Rival has become an established force in the electronic scene. With detailed work elevating bass music to a new level, he continuously keeps his records fresh and atypical from the rest, known for his orchestral elements that are woven into each track. Among his standout million-streamed hits include Monstercat record “Oblivion” with Fairlane and Philip Strand, and “Control” with Unknown Brain and Jex, which has over 85MM streams on Spotify alone. Rival has become a catalyst for other like minded creators and fans who have joined his community, most notably on YouTube with over 125K subscribers and his Discord server “Rival & Friends.”

With massive collaborations under her belt including “Start It Over” with Last Heroes and Man Cub (1.6MM streams on Spotify) and “Just Like You” with Kompany, Nashville-based singer-songwriter KC continues to captivate listeners worldwide with her emotionally-charged lyrics. Solidifying herself as a rising vocalist in the scene, she continues to push boundaries and connect with fans on a personal level. She’s most certainly an artist to watch.

On February 3rd, Blanke will kick off the ‘Emergence’ tour at Webster Hall in New York City, followed by 10 more stops in Toronto, San Diego, Salt Lake City, and others to be announced. The tour will feature extraordinary production and cutting-edge visual design, together narrating the compelling story of the EP. At every tour stop, fans can anticipate a dynamic double feature with performances from both Blanke AND ÆON:MODE. The excitement is perceptible as Blanke eagerly looks forward to exposing his United States audience to the ever-growing realm of drum and bass.

KC and Rival are each working on plenty of new music. Fans can stay updated to hear more from them by keeping up with their socials.
