“Opera Haus” is the debut collab from melodic dance producer Jason Ross and Israeli psytrance act Blastoyz.

The uptempo heavy hitter merges their two styles with techno-infused psytrance breakdowns, hypnotic chants and melodic bass drops. The single comes on the day of Blastoyz’s Academy LA headline show and ahead of his fall festival run at Tomorrowland Brasil, Transmission and EDC Orlando. Jason Ross will also be playing the inaugural ATLAS takeovers – 3 specially curated shows at The Midway, Terminal 5 and Hollywood Palladium following the release.

Jason Ross is one of dance music’s premier acts, while simultaneously being one of the scene’s more elusive figureheads. That’s not due to any fault of his productions, but rather, purely due to his versatility. Once a mainstay on the legendary Anjunabeats and a rising star of new age trance shepherded by Above & Beyond and co, Jason quickly outgrew the boundaries of four to the floor grooves, expanding into the less finite space of broken beats and pop vocals of melodic bass. A blossoming working relationship with melodic bass propagator Seven Lions led to genre defining tracks like Higher Love and Ocean, backed up by beautiful, elongated and gently weaving trance discography featuring the likes of Cairo, Atlas, and his 2019 Anjunabeats EP Rooms. The ability to weave the emotion and hypnosis of trance into the more commercial grit of melodic bass has made Jason’s recent catalog uniquely his own. His unique multi-genre tinged approach to production shines on genre-defining tracks like Shelter, his Blanke collab One More Day, his solo single Wild Ones, and his Gryffin collab After You, among others.

His sub brand – Atlas – is a moniker that defines who Jason is as an artist: worldly and all inclusive. Shying away from needing to stick to certain sounds or expectations, and instead choosing to meld genres and fan bases, Atlas aims to capture the range of Jason Ross by emblazing the concept on everything from merch to his digital fan groups, to his 2022 full length artist album and headline tour.

Israeli DJ, musician and producer Kobi Nigreker, better known as Blastoyz, has cemented himself as one of the leading artists in the psytrance scene over the past few years. His uplifting production and hypnotizing basslines have landed him on labels such as Armada Music, Iboga Records, Spinnin’ and Dreamstate with support from the likes of Armin van Buuren, Gareth Emery, Hardwell, Will Sparks and
more. With a steady presence on Beatport’s top charts and millions of streams worldwide, Blastoyz has accumulated a dedicated international fanbase with no signs of slowing down. Throughout his career, he’s collaborated with artists such as Vini Vici, Skazi and Seven Lions with major performances under his belt at festivals like Tomorrowland, Ultra Music Festival, Electric Zoo, and EDC Las Vegas. Blastoyz also recently launched his own independent label ‘WELVRAVE’ in partnership with Create Music Group.

As the official record label of melodic dubstep leader Seven Lions, Ophelia Records is a label that promotes independent dance music across a wide range of genres. In just five years, Ophelia has become one of the hottest labels in electronic music thanks to its tight-knit community and ability to connect fans of melodic bass, dubstep, trance, psytrance, drum & bass, house and beyond. With over 200 catalog releases from acts such as SLANDER, Excision, Kill The Noise, MitiS, Jason Ross, NGHTMRE, Wooli, Trivecta, Blastoyz, Crystal Skies and Last Heroes, Ophelia has multiple #1 iTunes dance records and has been supported on the covers of mint and danceXL with additional playlisting on New Music Friday, Dance Rising, Bass Arcade and SiriusXM BPM.
