As someone who’s continously cementing his status as one of the scene’s most on-fire dance acts, Brando is picking up right where he left off on his meteoric rise to global stardom.

Today, the American singer-songwriter and producer dropped his ‘90s-inspired ‘Slip N Slide’ EP, which contains some of his most popular releases to date as well as a brand-new production that serves as the EP’s title track.

Rounding up the most infectious songs he released over the past two years, the ‘Slip N Slide EP’ accurately reflects the artistic strides Brando has been making. With the RnB-flavored title track taking center stage amongst known favorites such as ‘Look Into My Eyes’, ‘Close To You’, ‘All Night’, ‘Party’s Over’ and ‘Yes Or No’, this sonically alluring six-pack shows exactly why the Californian singer-songwriter is one of the hottest acts in dance music today.

“For this EP, I wanted to focus on bringing together a sampling of the vibes I had on the records I released last year to tie up my project”, Brando says. “2021 for me was a year of discovery in finding my sound in the dance music genre, and this year is going to be even more honed in and defined for me in terms of creativity. ‘Slip N Slide’, the lead single of the EP, encompasses this new focus on being true to myself as an artist and releasing records that tie back to my roots in the RnB world. This EP represents both a capstone moment for my 2021 releases and a hint of the evolution in my music I’ll be working towards in these next few years. I’m hoping my fans enjoy it and keep their eyes peeled for my next drops. They are going to be epic!”

About the EP’s title track, Brando added: “‘Slip N Slide’ is arguably one of my favorite dance records I’ve made up to this point. When I went into the writing process for it, I just wanted to focus on creating an RnB song that can be reworked into a dance song, so that is exactly what my producer Avedon and I did. We started off with some amazing RnB keys from a producer buddy of his and I just wrote the entire topline in 15 minutes while he messed around with the track. The minute we sped it up and changed the key, the song just fell into its own thing and became the song you hear today. I’m incredibly excited to be able to share it with my fans and I can’t wait to get their feedback!”

Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Brando was a major force behind Canadian duo Loud Luxury’s multi-million-stream, multi-platinum-selling hit song ‘Body’ (almost 900 million streams on Spotify) and Don Diablo’s ‘Congratulations’ (more than 46 million streams on Spotify), the latter of which shot up the U.S.

Mediabase Dance Chart through a surge of radio plays. His 2020 single called ‘Look Into My Eyes’, which reimagines Charles & Eddie’s ‘Would I Lie To You’, spent ten straight weeks atop Australia’s airplay chart, taking the crown for the most-played song of the year from The Weeknd’s ‘Blinding Lights’. The song even entered the Spotify Top 200 in Australia, Austria, Germany, Sweden and New Zealand, all while clocking up over 58 million streams across the most popular streaming platforms so far.
