Clif Jack is an Italian techno producer who has been turning heads of late with a string of releases on respected record labels including labels such as Reinier Zonneveld’s Filth on Acid.
His latest release sees Clif Jack return to Simina Grigoriu’s record label Kuukou with a two-track release titled “Imminent”. It’s in the driving style that he has been become known for amongst the techno elite, as his music has been finding support in the DJ sets of people like Adam Beyer.
This is the second time that Clif Jack has released his music on Kuukou, but it’s his first solo EP on the label, as last time he just featured as part of a various artist release.
The EP opens with the title track “Imminent” which has a rumbling bass and acid synth line layered with pounding drums and a vocal of the same name that gives the track its title.
“Restless” has rattling percussion and a trippy synth line which creates a mesmerising groove that’s underpinned by the slamming percussion.
