2018 saw Newcastle’s Cristoph collaborate with Camelphat to release last year’s global dance music hit, ‘Breathe’.

With fan videos of the track sending the dance music community into overdrive from clubs in Ibiza and beyond last summer, ‘Breathe’ finally arrived on Eric Prydz’ ‘Pryda Presents’ label last November with remixes following on Ministry Of Sound soon after. Crossing over to receive major commercial success as well as dominating the underground circuit, ‘Breathe’ reached the top 40 singles chart along with being certified Silver in the UK. The track also received a momentous reception in the U.S, peaking at number 21 on the U.S Billboard dance club songs chart.

Returning to ‘Pryda Presents’, Cristoph today releases the anticipated follow up to ‘Breathe’.

Collaborating once more with vocalist Jem Cooke, ‘Slowly Burning’ continues to demonstrate Cristoph’s ability to create emotive dance music anthems fit for both the club and radio. With the infectious and emotive vocals of Jem Cooke also featuring, ‘Slowly Burning’ marks Cristoph’s entrance to 2019 with another assured peak time club anthem.

After a string of releases across seminal labels including Sasha’s ‘Last Night On Earth’ and Yousef’s ‘Circus Recordings’, along with curating the inaugural ‘8 track’ album on Hot Since 82’s ‘Knee Deep In Sound’, Cristoph has become one of dance music’s most in-demand artists. After catching the attention of Eric Prydz, a number of key releases on ‘Pryda Presents’ followed including ‘EPOCH’, ‘Voice Of Silence’ and of course, ‘Breathe’. With Cristoph also holding a residency at Hï Ibiza last summer alongside Eric Prydz, 2019 is set to be the Newcastle artist’s most significant year to date, marked by a busy international touring schedule and more releases to come.
