Dankey returns with his sophomore single release – Afterparty. Already gaining quite some DJ support, it’s out now through Spinnin’ Deep.
Somewhat of a mysterious act, Dankey is known for a deep, techy sound, leaning heavy on the bass and quirky melodics. Headstrong in every aspect, this was first displayed with a release on Claude VonStroke’s Dirtybird imprint, where Dankey delivered the funky tune ‘Westside’ on the label’s Secret Sauce compilation.
Now, Dankey has returned with ‘Afterparty’, a deep exercise in broken-up house music, featuring cool robotic vocals, filthy synths and freaky distorted sounds.
