Did Taylor Swift Just Confirm ‘Reputation (Taylor’s Version)’?

Taylor Swift may be dropping hints again. During the iHeartRadio Music Awards 2025, Swift appeared via a pre-recorded video to accept honors for her record-breaking Eras Tour, recognized as the “Tour of the Century.”

While her acceptance speech was heartfelt, it was her fashion choice, a $9,000 Jacquie Aiche snake necklace, that caught fans’ attention.

The necklace, featuring a marquise diamond snake head, immediately sent Swifties into a frenzy, reigniting speculation that “Reputation (Taylor’s Version)” could be imminent. Fans quickly took to social media, with posts like “IS THAT A SNAKE NECKLACE?” and “rep tv in the air,” referencing the snake motif famously tied to Swift’s “Reputation” era.

The snake became symbolic for Swift following a public feud in 2016 when Kim Kardashian branded her with snake emojis. Swift reclaimed the imagery during the 2017 rollout of “Reputation,” incorporating snake themes into her music videos, stage performances, and merchandise.

Swift has now re-recorded all but two of her studio albums, “Taylor Swift” (2006) and “Reputation” (2017). With anticipation building around these final “Taylor’s Version” releases, her deliberate choice to showcase snake imagery is viewed as a strategic teaser.

In her speech, Swift reflected on the immense effort and gratification she found in her Eras Tour, emphasizing, “This tour was absolutely the most challenging thing I’ve ever done in my life … and it really was the most gratifying thing I’ve ever done.”

The singer concluded by introducing a special taped performance of her song “Mirrorball,” recorded during her first Eras Tour concert in Glendale, Arizona, exactly two years prior.

Swift led the 2025 iHeartRadio nominations with 10 nods, winning eight awards, six decided by fan votes, highlighting her ongoing influence and connection with her audience.

Whether or not the snake necklace is a sign of “Reputation (Taylor’s Version)” coming soon, Swift continues to masterfully keep fans guessing with each calculated move.
