New York City duo – Disco Killerz and legendary DJ – Liquid Todd reunite for their 4th collaboration – Changes.
‘Changes’ begins with sublime vocals complimenting some immaculate piano work. The track moves forward and slides into a perfect summertime tune, grappling the listener between each segment.
“Our backgrounds are originally as players and songwriters – so we really focus on songwriting, and the structure that we think makes great pop music,” Disco Killerz explain. “Todd’s way more indie and underground then our tastes tend to go – and the combination brings a balance to the collaborative productions that we think makes them both commercial and cool at once,” they add. “At the end of the day, if you can’t play a song sitting on the beach on a guitar – it’s not really a song.”
“Changes” follows their previous chart-topping singles with tastemaker labels Armada and Crowd Records including “In The Music” feat. Hannah Rose and “Satisfaction” feat. Larcy. Their unique partnership scored a major dance radio hit with “Stellar” feat. Jimmy Gnecco – a Top #5 Dance Radio, #1 BPM, #23 Billboard track, over 4 million plays on Spotify and ended up being Armada’s biggest radio single of the year.
