Disco Lines touches down on Insomniac Records with his debut ‘LOVELAND EP,’ a three-track collection of grooves headed straight for the heart.

Marking his first EP, the L.A transplant’s new release is a one-way ticket to ‘LOVELAND.’ Led by its heartfelt single “Another Chance,” the first offering slips itself onto the scene a few days ahead of the full EP, as a tribute to those caught in their emotions this Valentine’s Day. His piano-laden house number follows along the fight of trying to win back the affection of someone who’s slipping through the cracks.

Setting the mood with a seamless use of dreamy textures and vibrant hooks, Disco Lines blends the perfect dynamics into a sentimental serenade.

Changing up the temper and tempo completely, “2 Hearts” finds itself on the prowl for a deeper connection. Enlisting the help of versatile singer and producer GUDFELLA, the Orange County-grown artist lends his distinct vocal rasp to take on the essence of infatuation.

Plucky bass, sustained pads, and shuffling drums create the perfect backdrop behind his fervent petitions, which keep their tenacity all the way through the frisky keyboard solo holding court at the track’s climax.

Winding down the release to a convicted finish is “Waste Your Love,” bringing on the talents of queer indie pop phenom morgxn and LA’s homegrown beatmaker Kwon. The melding of these three unique projects results in a brooding melodic house closer that trips over the thought of letting someone new into the picture. Soft breakbeat percussion, tender piano keys, and twinkling melodies create a silhouette for morgxn’s self-deprecating delivery, until the moody progressions make the doubt seem insurmountable.

Speaking on the creation of the lead single, Disco Lines shares: “I had a really cool topline that we got from Clementine Douglas. While I was on tour in Australia, I linked up with Harry [Odd Mob]. Harry and I wanted to work on it together. He had a connection at a studio in Brisbane, the same studio that ‘Dance Monkey’ was recorded in, a very cool place. We booked it out for the day and worked on it. I was listening to a lot of piano house and getting inspired by it. Harry hit the piano chords and then I added some drums and bass. Most of it came together that day, super quick. It’s always a good feeling when songs come together like that. No need to overthink it, if it feels good, it is.”

Fulfilling his need for creating expressive and emotive dance music, Disco Lines is no overnight success. Gathering a cult following online with his viral flips, the Colorado-raised producer has put in his time with a range of achievements, which include 5.3 billion views on TikTok and 65 million streams on his previous single “Baby Girl,” which was featured on BBC Radio 1 and Mista Jam championed by the likes of The Chainsmokers, Kygo, Tiesto, Oliver Heldens, Danny Howard and Pete Tong.

Having headlined and sold out El Rey, Ogden Theatre, Elsewhere and countless shows across the US, Australia and New Zealand, Disco Lines is looking forward to unveiling the EP to his adoring fans at an incredible range of gigs including EDC Mexico, Electric Forest, Project Glow fest, and at Red Rocks as support for Tchami.

With his inaugural ‘LOVELAND’ EP, Disco Lines traverses the ups and downs involved with dating, all while demonstrating his ever-expanding range as an artist. And in the process, he makes the journey seem just as exciting as the destination.

Disco Lines’ new “LOVELAND EP” is available on all platforms via Insomniac Records.
