Currently making waves wherever he can, Nigerian singer Wizkid now returns with his newest afro dance hall anthem ‘Like This’, courtesy of DJ Henry X and key beat maker Mxller, who deliver just about the right groove for this gem. It’s a track already supported by worldwide radio, including a premiere at OVO Radio. ‘Like This’ is officially out now through Spinnin’ Records.
Named as Africa’s most renowned new star, Wizkid has been on fire since the release of his 2014 album ‘Ayo’, which caused a spark all over the world. This included enthused support by Canadian artist Drake, who quickly hooked up with the Nigerian singer for his much acclaimed single ‘One Dance’.
Now he returns alongside DJ Henry X, the Dutch/Ghanaian DJ/producer known for his futuristic dance sounds with characteristic afro twists in his sets. After performing and organizing several highly popular events he’s currently exploring new paths with his productions, first single ‘Like This’ immediately hits the mark with a unique, afropop styled dance gem.
‘Like This’ was picked up rapidly after Drake recently premiered the track during his guest mix at OVO Sound Radio, quickly followed by kindred radio shows and enthused blog support, including a quick entry into the infamous Hypem network.
