Manchester duo Duke & Jones have joined forces with grime legend Flowdan on new single ‘Trenches’, out 13th August.

Centred around a snarling, club-ready drill beat, ‘Trenches’ allows Flowdan’s heavy baritone flow and skilled lyrical prowess to take centre stage.

It follows Duke & Jones’ 2021 singles ‘Reflection’, ‘Hold On’, ‘Lost In Motion’ and ‘Walk Away’, tracks that have amassed over 2.3 million combined Spotify streams.

Duke & Jones are quickly establishing themselves as one of the most forward-thinking acts in the industry, regularly proving that true talent doesn’t need a record label or a huge co-sign to make waves.

Instead, they let the music speak for itself, adopting a ‘less is more’ mantra that underpins their unique sound design and has helped them garner millions of global listeners.

An integral part of the grime scene since its formation, Flowdan is one of the original members of Roll Deep and the Pay As U Go Cartel, and has since cemented his raw booming delivery on some of the biggest tracks of the past decade, such as ‘Skeng’, ‘Jah Wah’ and ‘Say Nothin’, released on labels like Eskibeats and Hyperdub.

Based out of Toronto and founded by Zeds Dead, Deadbeats has recently released music from Habstrakt, Chee, Nostalgix, Eprom, Subtronics, Blunts & Blondes, and many more. In just over 5 years Deadbeats has become a destination label for bass music acts that are pushing boundaries and shaking speakers. Also a live events brand, Deadbeats has hosted showcases and stage takeovers in over 30+ cities around the world

A collaboration between a fast-rising production duo and one of the most respected names in grime throws up scintillating results.
