Canadian duos Eminence and Weston & Teston returned to Monstercat today, with their nostalgic progressive house single, “Take Me Away.”
Featuring angelic vocals from TikTok star Meredith Bull, the sweeping track infuses sonic elements reminiscent of RÜFÜS DU SOL while sprinkling in their signature uplifting melodies.
Eminence share, “We started this song a year and a half ago with the goal of capturing the classic 2012 progressive sound with our synths, but twisting it in a modern way with our drums. The instrumental was created, but we always felt something was missing. That’s when Meredith came into the picture and blew us all away with the vocals! “Take Me Away” is about finding inspiration from someone you love and coping with that person being gone.”
