Brooklyn-based artist EVAN GIIA teams up with fellow bass house badass Nostalgix for “Limit” – out Friday June 30.

The combination of EVAN GIIA’s classically trained opera vocals and the track’s alluring and dark bassline is top tier, and showcases a unique take on the genre. The two powerhouse producers have never worked together before, but their synergy is apparent in the track’s energy. The accompanying music video gives off y2k grunge vibes, and shows off EVAN GIIA’s live vocals alongside Nostalix’s DJing.

On the release of “Limit” EVAN GIIA shares; “I was excited to write a song that uses my operatic sound on the pre chorus and then drop into something heavy. LIMIT is my first collab w. a female producer (a goal I’ve had for years!) You can feel the confidence & power in it. The message: you can do anything you set your mind to. There are no limits. We had a vision of female warriors going to battle while we wrote it.”

Brooklyn based artist, EVAN GIIA has established herself as one of the ones to watch. Entering the music scene as a classically trained opera singer her voice adds a distinctive touch to her electronic pop crossover sound. Released by ODESZA’S Foreign Family Collective in 2018, GIIA’s breakout single “WESTWORLD” and the self-directed music video propelled her to #1 on Hype Machine. Combined Spotify streams of the song now exceed 37 million. The Berklee College of Music alumna has performed at festivals like Coachella, EDC, Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo, Electric Forest and shared stages with the likes of ODESZA, Illenium, Dillon Francis, Louis The Child, Alison Wonderland, Jai Wolf, What So Not, and Big Wild. Her 2022 Summer thrived even more with the hit “Don’t Let Me Let Go” with Dillon Francis and Illenium, which peaked at #1 on dance radio charts. EVAN GIIA’s 2023 is already off to a strong start with performances at Governors Ball, shows with Two Friends, and Outside Lands Festival and a Jai Wolf tour still to come. With new music arriving consistently throughout the year, Evan continues to push boundaries and rejuvenate electronic music with her relatable hooks and world class performance

Nostalgix ascent through the bass house scene has been nothing short of a dream. Her refreshing sounds, positive energy, and electrifying performances have garnered the attention of both fans and industry tastemakers alike. Her releases on Deadbeats, UKF, Confession, Night Bass, DND Recs, House Call Records and Insomniac Recs have jetset Nostalgix around to some of the biggest stages at HARD Summer, Beyond Wonderland, EDC, Spring Awakening and more. As a proud woman in the music industry, Nostalgix exudes boss energy everywhere she goes. This modern day 90’s “it-girl” is on a mission to create a positive and a loving environment within the dance music scene.

“Limit” is available June 30.
