Kill The Noise releases a two sided single off his third album ‘HOLLOW WORLD’.
Indie rock band Joywave sings lyrics on speeding towards disaster in an effort to be right on “Drive” over high-octane electro house and electroclash grooves. “Afraid Of The Dark” is the anthemic B-side with haunting vocals from Karra that explode into melodic bass drops and massive dubstep growls. The tracks were teased by Kill The Noise at his Ultra Music Festival performance and will be accompanied by an album tour announcement.
The music of Jake Stanczak, better known as American producer and DJ, Kill the Noise, was born out of an era where Ridley Scott imagined utopian futures on the silver screen, and artists like NIN and Aphex Twin rocked MTV. After channeling the influences of his youth through over a decades’ worth of forward driven electronic releases (Roots, Kill Kill Kill, Black Magic, Occult Classic), and charismatic live shows (Coachella, EDC Lollapalooza, Hardfest), the name “Kill the Noise” has become synonymous with some of the leading acts in dance music — getting creative in the studio with the likes of Dillon Francis, Deadmau5, AWOLNATION and Skrillex.
In 2022, Kill The Noise made his return with ‘EMBRACE’, hissophomore album and first in seven years. The album was accompanied by Kill The Noise’s 27 city tour to promote the record. Upstate New York indie band Joywave charges their electro-dance grooves with a post-punk rock edge.
Emerging in the early 2010s, they had their first breakthrough with their appearance on Big Data’s single “Dangerous,” which became a chart-topping hit the same year as the group’s 2015 debut, ‘How Do You Feel Now?’.
